Supplies from Paris

Today I went to gather supplies for future Orchid's Design projects.

I visited several wonderful stores here in Paris, but the true highlight was Mokuba - the most chic and expensive ribbon store I have ever been to. There were so many ribbons I could envision using as incredible details for tiny frocks - but when some were close to 140 euro for a single metre... well, I had to restrain myself in my choices! Whilst we were there a special custom order was being put through for Chanel - so you can rest assured I use only the finest materials for my own designs!

Tiny resin mouse by BJTales wearing a very full, tightly gathered cotton and lace tutu.
Strings of tiny beads add charm to the ensemble, and lace bodice worn as a sweet bonnet.

or something a little more extravagant....

Thank you to Rere again, for these fabulous shots of her BJTales Mouse wearing custom Orchids Designs ensembles.

Circus Child

Dusky pink and black polka dot two-piece ensemble. The gathered tutu has layers of soft black tulle underneath, trimmed with black lace. The bodice is accented with touches of lace and ribbons.

Teal and Celadon

The resin Sindy dolls by BJTales have begun arriving home. I was delighted to see this little photo shoot by one of the new owners, with her Sindy modelling our "Strawberries and Cream" frock in Teal.

Head here to see more of her pictures on flickr - or here to take a peek at the dress thread.

Mousy Outfits

We recently created some incredibly tiny little outfits for the new resin line of BJTales "Mouse". The mice have begun to make their way to their new homes, and it's lovely to see our outfits welcoming them!

We were also just told that our outfits made to fit the resin Sindy, Aerica and porcelain Ophelia sculpts also perfectly fit the new resin line of Aleah BJD by Nefer Kane. We still have a few available "Sindy-sized" outfits available for immediate purchase!
